Feather Branches is a wall sculpture created by Didi NG Wing Yin made of the entanglement of two axe-split branches. The surfaces of each branch were applied with the unique carving technique to create a new feather-like texture as the second skin of the wood. The feathers transform the hardness of wood into something soft and tactile. The resulting wood feather is thin, light, and appears fragile, the texture resembles the fur or pelt of living creatures.
