Pleats Vase is a handmade wooden vase collection. The wood surface experiment reveals the aesthetics of the growth of a tree. Inspired by the traditional making of wood shingles, using an axe to split the wood slab into pieces, a natural surface is formed according to the wood fibers‘ twisting growth. Following up with the brushing technique, a strong tactile texture is created, showing the beauty hidden in nature.
