Wood Ocean is a wooden stool that focuses on the discovery of new texture and colour possibilities on softwood. There is a balance between the smooth and irregular surfaces of the stool. In line with it, they are indicated in black and vivid colours. The uneven surfaces were handcrafted to accentuate the wood's texture. The surfaces were then burned and brushed to control the gradation of the charred marks. The wood was eventually dyed with ink to provide a vivid colour that complemented the ocean current.
